Under the Privacy and Sensitivity settings, when I select "Record Video Only" or "Do Not Record Video or Audio," the camera still records sound.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the Kasa app and unplugged the unit and plugged it back in. I also reset the camera, but it still records sound all the time.

I emailed tech support and am waiting to hear back from them.

Has anyone else had this issue? You should try changing your setting to "Record Video Only" or "Do Not Record Video or Audio" and see if you have the same issue.

I was reading some similar sound subject posts and one response from Tony makes sense. If your setting is "Record Video Only," the saved clip will not have any sound on it.

However, if you are watching the Live stream you will hear sound. I assumed that I would not hear sound on the Live stream.

Correct, our settings only affect the recorded video, not the live stream.
