Trying to connect a brand new HS103 smart plug. Followed all the directions in the wizard, but there is no option on my iPhone to allow local network access. I am running iOS 14.3 on an iPhone 12 mini. There is no option for local network permission under Settings > Kasa and there is nothing under Settings > Privacy > Local Network. Am I missing something? Where else should I look? The plug will not connect without local network access but I have no way of granting it. 

 

I have deleted the app and reinstalled twice. I have unplugged and plugged back in twice. I have pressed and held the button for 5 seconds, but I have no way to grant local access in iOS 14. Can anyone help? I was on to TP Link chat, but they were not helpful...at....all.

@Tony Thanks, but the problem I had was that I was not prompted to allow local network access and it did not appear in settings. This guide does not show how to fix that issue. I get how it is supposed to work, but it was not working. I ended up using my iPad, and that worked, but I never did get it working on my phone.

If you added it via the iPad the plug should of popped up automatically on the iPhone.

@Jwylie I am having the EXACT same issue. The local access option in settings is just -missing-. I know how to get there, but I literally see all of the options -except- the one the app wants me to select :(
