Camera/ Smart plug, Switch Bulb conflict
Router Archer C5400 I have been running Smart switches, plugs and bulbs for atleat a year now with no connectivity problems. I connected a KC310S2 cameras with hub and I have lost the smart switches, plugs and bulbs connectivity. If I reboot the router I have connectivity for just under 30 min before I loss it again. I have disconnected the camera hub and this has not worked. This all started when I connected the camera.

If there was somehow an IP conflict I can see a device not connecting anymore.
Factory reset the router, connect the camera first, verify it works, then connect an additional Kasa device.

So the problem that I have identified is that the smart plugs and such aren't losing connectivity. The router is dropping the 2.4g band. I have taken it off of auto channel and auto width. I am trying each combination of channel width and channel . So far when I change the channel and reboot, I have the 2.4g band for 30 - 60 min then I loose it.

With respect to the 2.4G disappearing some users mentioned changing the wireless encryption to TKIP, might be worth trying. Another setting to try is to change the transmit power from high to medium.
You can also try enabling the guest network for the router and connecting some smart devices to that to see if 2.4G continues to drop on that or not. The smart devices will revert to remote control automatically, and controlling them will not be different.

I need to update the title or close this thread and open another. The new problem is that the 2.4g band does not stay active for more the 1 hr. When it is active all items connect. Could I have to many wireless items connected for it to remain stable?

The max supported clients are 32 for the 2.4G band, but we recommend connecting no more than 30. If you have devices less than that amount, you can still try and enable the guest network and split the total devices to see how that goes. If the guest 2.4G remains on and the main 2.4G continues to drop or both the main and guest, then the 2.4G antenna may be suspect.

Tech support suspects hardware failure. The weird thing is that the 2.4 g light on the front is illuminated.
