I have a local area network with multiple segregated VLANs - KASA and my switches/outlets work fine when on the same wifi network, but I want to be able to control my IOT devices on my IOT vlan from my main network (VLAN1). I can ping and access devices if the connection is established from VLAN1 - but KASA will not see the switches/outlets. 

I have mDNS enabled on my router, but that is not doing it. 

Does anyone know what it takes for the KASA app on android to discover TP-Link devices on another LAN? Surely this has been discussed before, but I can't find it. 

I really don't want another internet account even on my separate IOT vlan.
