Model: RE815XE
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.6

Im using TP link AXE7800 router with 1 gig from ISP..Anyone having issues with ping and latency on 6gz. I always had a ping of 20/30 but after installation of extender( which btw isn't far at all and nothing in way) my ping climbed to 80/100.. Wondering why ive spent $150 to have slower internet.. Extreme Frustration. I would be grateful for any help/suggestions and appreciate it.. Thx

As I understand after setting up mine 1 1/2 month ago all three LEDs 2.4, 5, and 6 on the RE815XE should be ON, meaning you should try to connect each band to the like band on the router. That said mine is connected to an ASUS router, so I’m not able to try OneMesh functionality…

  @FknHitMan

Not sure which one of the pings you're looking at. When using wifi analyzers I see there's the ping to the IPv4 (my local router) and the ping to a distant station (something like 'www dot company_name dot com').  Both of those numbers tell a different story. Between my keyboard and router it's usually about 4 to 7 ms, but then to the company_name website it'll be anywhere from 20 to 100 depending on a wide range of factors.

I'd recommend taking a look at that first, so you know which number you're looking at. And then determine if what you're looking at is a latency, jitter, or lag issue.

FYI, anything below 150 for total latency (out to the distant dot com) is considered reasonable.

Hope that helps amigo. Keep us posted! Cheers, AB
