I have the KL430 but the light strips are starting to fail and I'd like to replace them. The KL430E isn't in stock or available at any online store that I check. I'm beginning to think it isn't produced anymore.

There are other models, like KL400 and KL420 on eBay. So I'm wondering if any of these other KL series are compatible? Can you use the light strips from earlier models with a newer model's controller. What combinations are compatible?
