I just installed doorbell. From app it said, format not recognized. Format the card. I figure it is a blank card so I asked it to fromat. After a minute or so it thre me on to a blank page with word [Title]. On the left top corner is a back arrow whcih takes me back to formating. Stumped.

Hmmm, can you provide a screenshot of the screen that you are seeing?

 

What SD Card and Camera are you using? I would first make sure that your SD card is within the capacity of the camera.

 

FAQ: What You Should Do If You Cannot Format Your SD Card

 

If you can, try formatting the card on a PC to use the FAT32 Format, and Uncheck 'Quick Format' to remove any problems with portions of the storage.
