C211 cameras stop recording when their window is not on top
I have a pair of C211 cameras which I really liked until I started to record on them using internal Samsung 64GB SD cards.
The Tapo software (Version 3.9.523) works fine to continuously record what the camera sees until the camera image is no longer the window with focus, at which point the recording just stops.
Specifically:
On my Samsung S9+ phone (Android 10), the continuous reording only continues if I keep the Tapo software open with the camera's images showing. Once I move away from the app (without closing it) the recording stops by itself. Also, if I look at the second camera, the recording on the first also stops.
When I have the two cameras in a split screen configuration on a Samsung tablet (Android 12), and you press the record function on the top screen, swithcing to the bottom screen turns off the record function on the top screen. So I turn on the record function on the bottom screen, but when I select the top screen, the bottom screen stops recording. It does not seem possible to have both cameras record internally at once.
Having a situation where you MUSt keep the camera's window the prime focus of the device to keep recording makes the recording function pretty much useless.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a serious bug in the software? I can't imagine the developers intended that no matter how many cameras I have, they can only record internally one at a time, and that the app must be open and focused on the camera for it to continue recording.
