I see others having the same problem of the light turning red when shut off and the only way to get it to completely shut off is to unplug it.  Works fine when on... BUT... I JUST NOTICED... it also turns red when you lower the brightness in an mode/color.  I don't know what is going on, but the idea of setting a really dim scene instead of turning it off also does not work.  Now I see why I found this in my daughter's trash can.  Anybody got a solution for this?
