I just got another Kasa plug and found that Kasa is no longer compatible with Alexa even though Alexa will allow me to use it to control the first two smart plugs that I bought awhile back.

I tried to add a third one today.  It won't let me.  I can use Kasa on my Android but Alexa won't let me see the Kasa app on my Kindle fire.  I can only control my first two Kasa plugs on my Kindle.  To use the one I installed today I have to use my mobile phone.

I tried uninstalling Alexa and then reinstalling it but that app is married to my Kindle and refuses to let me do that.  I can't put a Kasa app on the Kindle as it's not available in Amazon's app store.  When I tried linking Alexa and Kasa it told me that the link expired and to try again.  I keep going in circles and want to tear my hair out.

What I find confusing is the first two Kasa plugs are controlled by Alexa but I can't find the Kasa app on my Kindle Fire at all even though I can still use Alexa to control them.

To use my newest plug I have to use my phone.  Why am I not allowed the courtesy of having ALL of my plugs on one device using Alexa?  If new Kasa plugs can no longer be added to Alexa, you need to be honest about it on the product page.  It feels like I've been had.

I tried calling tech support and couldn't understand one word your rep spoke.  His accent is too strong and I have hearing problems.

If I can't get help with this I will return the plug I had delivered today, ditch the other two Kasa plugs and find something that actually works with Alexa.  This shouldn't be so hard.  What am I supposed to do now?
