Cannot find charging station

I have an RV20 Max Plus vacuum. My unit suddenly was no longer able to find the charging station. All sensors have been cleaned, unit is plugged in and charging correctly, original map deleted and new mapping occurred. During new mapping, the unit again failed to find the charging base multiple times, despite having relocated it to a new area for the new map. The clearance is correct on all sides.

Check the troubleshooting tips here. What to do if Tapo robot vacuum can't return to the charging dock?

@Wayne-TP I have performed those steps and it still did not work. I have since returned the unit and got a replacement RV30.

@n1c0LaSS mine has been doing this as well! I have to angle the base forwards at a 5 degree angle (or so) in order to get it to recognize the base.
Done all the troubleshooting steps as well. :/

Is your charging dock placed on a carpet? Normally angle adjustments are only necessary when the ground is uneven.

May i know which Tapo robot vacuum you have? Can you share a picture of where the dock is placed? Is it exposed to the sun during the day time?

Is the charging station located in an area that receives sunlight? Are there any nearby mirrors, glass, or other reflective surfaces? These elements could potentially disrupt the dock's sensors, making it unable to detect the robot vacuum accurately.

No direct sunlight and no relfective surfaces around the base. I'm currently perfomring an RMA for the mop quitting out on me. So we will see if the replacement unit has any issues or not. What's odd is this issue started around the same time as the mop feature stopping as well. I've been using Rosey for the better part of a year without issue, then this. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
