Model: Tapo RV10
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 250411 Rel.094615

[NOTE: I was forced to select a model in the dropdown, since none of the Tapo RV vacuum models are included in the dropdown]
I recently bought the RV30 Max Plus robot vacuum and the battery is draining unexpectedly fast. I've clocked it at approximately 1% drain for every 10 sq ft covered. Since the vacuum considers 27% battery remaining as "too low to continue" it returns to its charging dock at that point, meaning the effective battery capacity is 73% and therefore it can only last for about 750 sq feet before needing to recharge.

Is this what is expected or what others are seeing as well? I have a ~3,000 sq ft home (2 floors) meaning I have to re-charge it 3 times just to clean both floors.

  @WesleyG.

That does feel awfully quick for our Robot Vacuums. The battery of the RV is highly dependent on the cleaning settings of the vacuum - I would first make sure that you are not running it on its Maximum cleaning power. I have noticed that with my vacuum, the time it takes to clean a room will change depending on how well it can navigate throughout a room. I have noticed that my dining table will cause more of a battery drain due to the vacuum taking additional time to deal with all the furniture. I would take a look at the reported path and check to see if there are any areas with complicated pathing that could drain the battery more than usual.
