@RaisingArizona i wouldnt recommend doing that as you run the risk of the battery basically deflating itself from constant charge, does the camera power up without the battery inside it? if so why not just remove the battery and leave it usb powered?

  @RaisingArizona The Tapo C425 does not have a battery that can be removed.  There is an option where one can install a solar panel and leave it plugged it continuously, and I would imagine that one should also be able to leave the USB charger cable in continuously as well.  Just checking to see if anyone has done this.
