EP10 Smart plug dead?

Model: EP10
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

My EP10 was functionaing normally then I placed it in a different location in the house and it would not connect to the phone app.  I removed then reinstalled the iphone app, I did a '5 second' reset and the app could not find it.  Did the '10 second' reset and again, the app could not find it I am using it with openhab and it does not see it.

So did the plug fail?   Is there anything I could try to repair it?  Currently, the plug is in the outlet and is flashing blue, then  orange.    I've power cycled the plug and get the same behavior.

It will turn on a light when the button on the side is pushed.  Neither openhab nor the phone app follows the  on/off action.  Basically, the plug does not communicate with anything.

Thoughts/suggestions on how to fix?
Thanks

LED blink orange and blue means the smart plug is in setup mode, it is a normal LED state of the plug.

For your case, please check whether you can find the smart plug's WiFi on your phone's WiFi list. To avoid display error, double-confirm this by re-enabling the WiFi on your phone, and check it with another phone. If smart plug's WiFi doesn't show up, then it is possibly a hardware issue with device's WiFi module. In this case, you may contact the support team to proceed with the warranty.

If the smart plug's WiFi is there, note that you will need to connect your phone to this WiFi manually then return to the Kasa app to proceed the configuration. The app can't find the plug if your phone isn't connected to the smart plug WiFi. Check this article for more troubleshooting guides. What should I do if I fail to configure the Kasa device?
