D130 button to smart plug
Would like to go from a D130 push button direct to a Tapo smart plug, this looks to be a no no.
Thus, does anyone know, can I go from a D130 push button using the chime entry to a Tapo hub like a H100 to a Tapo smart plug?

Can you explain what you're trying to do? If it is for the automation, then the doorbell press is actually an available Trigger option in the Automation. You can use it to control a smart plug to turn on or off. Have you checked it? How to create Smart Action (Automation or Shortcut) on Tapo app

Thank you Wayne-TP. Will take this information and give it a try. Trying to turn a light on and off in 2 seconds. Then next step is to turn an old 1960 motor driven chine/clock box. The doorbell button now has to be push all the way in. Thus, a tap on the button does not start the motor and the motor needs a longer kick start to get off dead center.
