I just installed an H100 hub and a T110 smart contact sensor on my door and although a ringtone sounds from the hub when the door is opened, and alarm 5 is noted as the ringtone chosen for the hub on the Tapo app, the out-of-the-box ringtone plays...until you adjust the volume, and then alarm 5 plays.  I've tried setting the hub to different ringtones but the original out-of-the-box ringtone is the only one that plays.  The hub updated to the latest firmware after I installed it.  Any help would be appreciated.

Different hub ring settings is supported when creating different automation. In your case, you need to adjust the ringtone setting in the created automation rule: Tapo app homepage, check the bottom menu, go to Smart, click Automation, and find the automation you've made.

 

Ring setting on the hub's page takes effect when you ring it directly in the app.

Thank you, Wayne.  That solved the issue.  My apologies for the late reply.  I received your message via email but haven't had an opportunity to log into the forum until now.
