Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.23 Build 241106 Rel.093525

Hello,

Noticed today all my door sensors, smart buttons, and motion sensor stop working. The H100 hub is not recording any of the events from thos devices. Last time it worked was today at 11:30am or so Eastern Time. Was this due to new update that made it stop working? I unplugged and replugged in the Hub and even removed a Smart Button and re-add and still it does not register the events from the button.

@Vel0city10k  mine did the same exact thing I'm going insane. I've factory reset everything and re added all of it. This has to be a botched update.

I agree! I have a ticket with them with the usual run around. Clearly it is something on their side or they pushed some update to the hub that makes it not record the events from my sensors. Especially when I can remotely access the hub away from my home by playing the ring tone. So clearly it has network access but the sensors are having trouble sending the motion or sensor events to the hub and record the event in the logs. Right now my hub logs is completely empty not logging anything from my Door sensor or Smart Button. But the hub shows those devices connected to it. So I am at a lost

@Vel0city10k This is exactly my issue and it seems specific to the hub. All events from my smart buttons have stopped logging completely as of 11/12. That hub has connection as the chime works similar to you. I've reset it and re added it to my Wi-Fi and added to the app. I changed the two smart buttons batteries. Reset and added them. NOTHING works right now. I will be calling them tomorrow so they understand how widespread this has to be. I saw someone on Reddit has the same issue about the 6 hours ago with this exact HUB and having our exact issue.

@InexactPrizm  that is most likely my post! Haha

Figured I reach out to where I can to see if others are reporting the same issues as me and it seems to be so.

@Vel0city10k completely makes sense but I saw more than one which is a good sign that we are not in the minority. Hopefully we can get this resolved and soon.

@InexactPrizm the fact that you and me tried all the solutions I am confident it is on TP Link's end and something has made devices lose communication to each other.

Nothing you can do, its a cloud service issue. I've repeatedly reported this, see my response here. They are either updating or having issues with their own cloud server.

ither it's a maintenance thing or migration to other servers. Possibly AWS is overloaded. In either case, there's nothing you can do except report the issue. TAPO customer service is not going to be able to help. They are offshore call centers and basically work off of a script. My advice is wait for a few days, reboot your router and hub. OR just wait for them to finish whatever they are doing on the cloud. More than likely it cloud service updates.
