Model: Kasa HS200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.3

I have a new HS200 that is working from the Kasa app and multiple other plugs like EP25, HS103, etc.  I have a local api that can control these plugs, but it does not work with the new HS200.

I understand that I need an api key (or something) and then use an updated protocol.  The old plugs answer on port 9999 and I think the new protocol is a new port.

Can anyone tell me how to get the key or whatever I need to make local calls to this device?

Or maybe a program snippet or reference that does the same.

  @LocalAPIUser SOLVED!

I got the api key.  The problem was that I was sending my account password with SH1 encryption, which I though was required.  When I sent it by plain text it returned a new key.

Now another problem that this switch HS200 shows "status: 0" which means offline in the cloud, so it cannot be controlled.  I will start a new thread for this...
