I periodically need to cycle power to my router when I have performance issues. Its not convenient to phyiscally access the router to do this. I bought these plugs thinking it would support this feature but it only has off & on. If I turn the plug off I'm not going to have internet access to turn it back on again. Why can't Kasa spend 10 minutes to add a feature that switches the plug off, pauses for a configurable amount of time, and then switches back on?
The smart plug’s schedule will continue to run even if the internet or Wi‑Fi connection is lost. In your case, you could set up two schedules: one to turn the plug off, and another to turn it back on 1–2 minutes later.
