I have a variety of HS200 switches (and several other model switches too...HS210, KS200M). When recently replacing a broken HS200 switch, its replacement was HW version 5.26, Firmware 1.0.3. When going to the device settings page, it had an Auto-Off Timer setting. This is great! I've wanted this feature for a while... it let's me turn off a switch after a predetermined amount of time... great for when kids leave their bedroom/bathroom lights on. Unfortunately it is only on the newest switch.

Can and will the Auto-Off Timer be added to old hardware/firmware versions of the switch? What about other devices (plugs, power outlets, etc.)?

Unfortunately, the community team does not have access to information about future product plans. Normally, the quickest way to stay informed about a product’s latest updates is to follow its firmware releases. Important updates and changes will always be listed in the firmware release notes.
