Model: Tapo H500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.9

Just got the hub 3 days ago and started with a 1 TB 2.5 drive from an old laptop. It worked fine but the heat build up was a little high and power draw was borderline max.  had a larger sata drive but it was a 3.5 so I checked power requirements and too much draw. so I used a HDD enclosure with a seperate power supply and a Male to female sata cable to attach hub to working 2.5 to test connectivity. it worked as normal so I attached the 3.5 drive. Hub accepted it and formated and working as it should . This being the case, what is the max size hdd I can add? the limit says 12 TB but is that total or including the internal storage? Also, it woud be nice to have a tray set up with a sdd dongle for a secure connection inside the hub or  non powered sata connector on the back.

Tapo H500 supports hard drives up to 12TB, which doesn't include the hub's internal storage.
