Yeah, i just bought one, but i never considered that i wouldn't be able to buy a second battery.
I use some Tapo cameras and keep a spare battery A100 to quickly replace in cameras.
You would have thought that TP Link would allow for spare batteries, or even just designing the door lock to use an A100. That would have been the customer focused thing to do. Their current stance is anti customer.
if my door lock battery needs replacing and i cant get one then I'll just buy another brand that does support battery replacement and rethink Tapo as an option for my home.
