Kasa light bulb wont reset and connect to app

Hardware version: 1.20 (per the app device info fo the other bulb, bulbs were part of the same pack)
Firmware version: 1.0.7
I have 2 light bulbs, one is connected to the app and works fine. The second is located only a few feet away on the other side of the bed and wont connect to the app...only works with the remote (the remote that I lost many moons ago).
I've tried to "reset" the bulb by turning off the lamp, pausing a few seconds, turning back on and repeating 5-10 times but instead of blinking 3 times the light just turns on each time and strobs through all of the colors continously (not just 3 times, it will just keep strobing through the colors like a disco until I turn off the lamp). My other Kasa bulb and cam are both connected to the wifi (I only know this because they are working), not sure if there is a way to make sure this particular bulb is connected and connect if it isnt? Wondering if that might be the problem? I removed the bulb from the app years ago, I think when I moved probably and havnt been able to add it back since.
If anyone has experienced this or just has a hunch of what might work, please let me know. Thanks a ton!!
