I have been using a combination of Kasa smartbulbs (KL 125) and smartplugs (HS103) for the last couple years in combination with google home. Other than issues with the lights being listed as "offline" briefly, they have worked rather well. Unfortunately, all of the sudden 2 of the lights stopped working, then 2 days later, the rest of the lights and plugs stopped working as well. They are all now listed as "offline" on both the Kasa app and on google home. I've tried factory reset without success. I've also ensured that my router is set to 2.4 GHz. my wifi network name and password hasnt changed.

 

I'm not sure what the issue is but I would appreciate any ideas on what the issue is. Thanks!

Restart (power cycle) the router and all the smart devices might help.

 

Connect your phone to the same WiFi as the smart devices, disable cellular data and VPN (if any), check whether the smart devices appear online under local control. If they only go offline during remote access, the steps outlined in Case 2 of this article should help. Cannot use the Kasa app to control my smart devices
