I can confirm that support pushed a beta firmware for me and that has resolved the issue compeltely and everything is working as it should.

Yes, the firmware should work even if your door lock is a different model.

  @Wayne-TP My mistake, the doorbell is actually the D235. I sent it just in case but let me know if I should send other details
