I found a workaround for my previous post that seems to have been removed without notice.

OP:

I have several HS200 switches that are behaving oddly. After a recent power outage 5 out of my 9 HS200s are stuck with the red LED on constantly.

All of the devices are on the network and I'm able to control them just fine.

I tried restarting them, the soft reset and re-added them keeping the configuration, and a full factory reset but no dice.

When turning the switch off I can see the light change slightly as if the normal white LED is also kicking on. Also, when doing the reboots/reset the orange and green LEDs work fine so the red LED isn't stuck on permanently.

Not sure what else to try. Any ideas?

After messing around with the LED settings in the Kasa app, I found that repeatedly switching between synchronous, inverse, always on, and always off let me get them back to the correct LED function. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the method. Some only took going from synchronous>always on>always off> synchronous once. Others I had to repeat it several times. Seems to be a weird bug with loading/saving the LED control option. Hope this helps someone else.
