My D210 camera is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting from my router and is probably the source of my battery drain. It only lasts 2 days before it needs a recharge..

 

 

 

I've tried a factory reset and also putting the unit right next to my router to eliminate the possibility of Wi-Fi interference but it still exhibits this behavior.

Are you using your doorbell with any open‑source platforms, such as Home Assistant? If yes, you might want to try disconnecting it from those platforms and then observe how the device performs.

 

We’ve received feedback that non‑officially‑supported third‑party platforms can sometimes cause unexpected behavior with our products. Since Tapo does not provide direct support for integrations like Home Assistant, this could be contributing to the issue you’re seeing.

 

How do you tell the doorbell is disconnecting from WiFi? Did you check router's client list? Or from the led status of the doorbell?
