I have a pad trained dog. I created a no go zone so the vacuum does not go into the room where the dog pad is maintained.


Today, the vacuum decided it needed to create a new map even though the map it uses is locked and ended up in the room with the pad. The vacuum tried to suck up the pad and ran over feces. Needless to say, it made a big mess.


Is there a way to prevent the vacuum from making a new map? Or is there a way to have the vacuum stop and ask for confirmation if it needs to create a new map? I've used the vacuum for over 6 months now and this is the first time something like this has happened.
