This switch turns on at the scheduled time but will not turn off at the scheduled time.  I have reset the time and it still refuses to shut off.

This is a pain as I often am not home to know it's still on at 3 am.  Any suggestions on how to fix this or schedule it correctly?

Go into the settings menu of the Kasa app, and make sure the correct time zone is selected. If it always was, try a different one to see if the issue followed the desired time zone.

 

As far as the schedule, create another test schedule or a small time gap, does that give the same result or just the time you specify?

 

Another thing to check off would be that the Kasa app is up to date (check the app store), and make sure the device is up to date (Kasa app > top left icon, Settings > firmware update).
