How can I enable Away Mode (not Away Scene) from IFTTT or other 3rd party integrations? I only see the option to control Scenes or Away Scene, not the random burglary-prevention feature.

@xyzygy You will need to use Kasa to enable away mode. The action list that IFTTT has for Kasa does not let you activate Away Mode that way.
Not sure if it will (IFTTT). What I use is Gideon and set up a time offset x number of minutes after Sunset (or a set time). Gideon will talk to IFTTT and TP-LINK.
