setting up smart bulb
cannot connect to bulb up whats so ever. tried everything instructed to do and does not show bulb recognition

To start you will need your iPhone or android device on your home Wifi. Access the Kasa app and click on the "+" then tap on add device. Choose the bulb type. You will be dirrected to connect to the bulbs default network TP-Link_smartbulb_XXXX or something similar. Once connected to it go back to the Kasa app. The app will connect to bulb, which will then dirrect you to choose a wifi network to link the bulb to. Connect it to your home network, choose an icon for the bulb and your done.

KASA instructions on iPhone are circular -- unable to connect bulbs to anything remote. I inserted two bulbs to each of two lights, each with 3-way switches. I was able to get the three-blink responses but that was it. Unable to name the lights ("try again"), and back and forth, endlessly. Something askew here...
