I am not fully sure of how to explain my question. 

I have installed my hs200 with the specifications outlined. The only difference from the switch I took out is the addition of a neutral jumper to the switch. Prior to installing the hs200 the fan would run without the switch being on. Now the fan seems to be dependent on the switch. Is there a reason for this? Can I set this up so that the fan can remain on while I control just the light with the switch?
