@B.Will Thanks, that is what I thought, but I guess just wanted confirmation!  Have my first HS210 installed and working correctly.  Next I'm going to tackle the one that has 3 switches to it!  Again, thanks for being here and being very helpful to a novice.

@B.Will Now, I installed my 2nd HS210 in a hallway that has 3 switches.  The HS210 is installed and working at the first of the three switches.  I'm at the second switch trying to install a dumb rocker switch, this is what the wires look like:

I'm not too sure what is what, nothing is labeled.  Would the black be the load and the red be the travelers?

@tward1 If you trace the lead back to the cable it is coming from you will see that 1 red and 1 black is coming from each cable.

That is a 4way switch, and each red/black pair are the travelers.

Replace it with a dumb 4way rocker.

Here is a picture of the one I replaced, on the left.  Bottom black is labeled Common on the switch so I put that to line/load of the HS210 and put the other Red and Black on the travelers, and of course neutral to neutral and ground to ground.

If I turn the switch on another wall on then the HS210 will have power and when it has power if I press it, the lights blink on and off, when I flip the other switch again the lights stay on but the HS210 doesn't appear to have power.  Does that make sense?

Here is the switch at the other end, I don't see a neutral there, the white is hooked to the common on the switch:

@tward1 It maybe that the black leads are reversed.

Sorry I did not see the secound picture. Is there a group of white wires on a wirenut in the secound picture?

@B.Will I'm stumped, not sure what I did, if I did something wrong or if it was not wired correctly to begin with.  It won't hurt anything if I switch the two blacks on the HS210 eventhough that doesn't look like the issue to me.

At the HS210 I have two sets of wires:

1.  White sheilding with a White/Black and Ground.

2.  Black sheilding with White/Black/Red and Ground.

     Black from #1 was on Common of old switch.

     White from #1 and #2 are wire nutted together.

     Red and black from #2 were on the travelers of the old switch.

At the other switch that I wasn't going to change:

1.  Black sheilding with White/Black/Red and Ground.

      White is on Common on switch.

       Black and Red are on the other two which I assume are travelers.

Does any of this make sense?
