Model: HS200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: unknown

Hi, I'm trying to wire an HS200 as a single switch that controls two outside flood fixtures. The original switch has 4 black wires attached and no other wires. In this scenario, am I essentially wiring the two groups of black wires to one of each of the black wires on the smart switch?

There is a grouping of white wires deeper in the box. I assume I should attach the Kasa white wire to those?

As a side note, what's the deal with the black wire that's attached inline?

Thanks!

@cheeseone I solved this by using a multimeter to determine which wires were load vs. line and connected the load wires to one Kasa black wire and the line wires to the other Kasa black wire. Green and white wires were tucked into the wiring box and I was able to connect those as well.

@cheeseone Hello. I have that same set up. I don't have a multi meter. So how can I figure out which line is load and line? Thanks for your post about this.
