My router tends to be troublesome and needs to be restarted occasionally. I know I can use Kasa to schedule reboots but what I'd really like is a) the ability to manually reboot remotely and b) a failsafe for the event of a power outage. The features I suggest are for the app's built in timer to be altered so the timer is stored on the plug and not the app, so the timer still works without internet access. This way I can remotely turn off the plug which will turn off my router but the timer will still count down and turn the router back on when it times out. The other feature is an option to set the plug to default to on or off when connected to power, so I can set it to on. This way when there's a power outage, when the power comes back on, my router will turn back on too.
