So...I have seen requests for a dimmable plug for devices like desk lamps. Maybe I missed it, but I haven't seen any new products that do this. Obviously, product developers have gotten the suggestion and have decided that they had no interest in it, despite a lot of competition that offers it.

I have just started automating my new home and have a few switches and bulbs. I assumed TP-Link, a reputable brand, would offer at least the same products that their competition did. Am I wrong? Is there a better brand to settle on that is more responsive to the market?
