Apple iPhone iPad cloud data sync in progress
I have tried for hours to add another EP25 SmartPlug using the latest Kasa app on both my iPhone and my iPad. In both cases I get a "cloud data sync in progress" failure message. Best as I can figure my Apple device is backing up to iCloud, which is outside Kasa's control (and apparently outside my control as well). I can't think of any reason why such a re-sync should take more that a few minutes as I haven't used either device much since it must have sync-ed the previous time. I have the feature backup device to iCould disabled; really only photos are backed up and I haven't taken more that 6 pictures in the last couple days.
1 ) Why can't I add a device just because my phone is backing up?
2 ) How can I tell when my iPhone is done re-syncing?
3 ) How can I get feedback on the progress of the re-sync so I know when I can expect to add my device?
4 ) Why doesn't any tp-link Kasa support talk about how to deal with the "cloud data sync in progress" problem?
