HS220 stop turning lights on and had to be power cycled
I had a strange situation today, whereby my HS220 would not switch any of my 6 LED recessed lights on. Despite the switch showing it was online both physically and in the app, the lights would not go on. I had to turn the power off at the breaker and then turn it back on and then the HS220 worked properly again. What would cause this?

Have you tried to restart the switch? What's the status of its LED indicator (the wifi icon) when this happens?
Please double-check your device's info, what's its hardware and firmware version?

Yes restarting (powering off at breaker and powering on again) did resolve it.

The status of the LED indicator was White when off and no LED on when the light was on.

How long have you been using this switch? If it has been in use for a long period, I suggest requesting a replacement directly. To proceed with the warranty, contact technical support team.

@Wayne-TP I have had it since Oct 2023 and this is the first time this has happened. It appears to be working fine again, but does this mean it is a sign of pending failure, and I should make a warranty claim? I am mindful Kasa Smart Switches only have 2 years warranty.
