Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello,

When I play an online game (call of duty warzone for example) I'm kicked out of the game with the error 'connection lost to the server'.  So I started trouble shooting...

I'm running a ping program in the back and this shows me a stable normal connection when I'm not doing anything.  As soon as I start a game, the ping program shows 'request timeout' failures on and off.

So I tested my ethernet cables (all cat 6) with a cable tester -> no problems.

I've disconnected the switch and connect the ethernet directly into the modem and no problems....

So, there seems to be something wrong with the switch.

I've disconnected all my ethernet cables and connected only the one from my PC and one to the modem -> unstable internet....

I've tried serveral different ports on the switch -> unstable internet

So, I was thinking maybe there is an update for the switch...

So I tried to connect to the ip address 192.168.0.1 using firefox and I receive an error this page is not reachable.

When I open cmd.exe and type ipconfig I get:

IPv4 Address: 192.168.0.167

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default gateway: 192.168.0.1

Anybody has an idea why I can't access the switch or why I have unstable connection?

Thank you

Dear @Lynxmania,

So I tried to connect to the ip address 192.168.0.1 using firefox and I receive an error this page is not reachable.

When I open cmd.exe and type ipconfig I get:

IPv4 Address: 192.168.0.167

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default gateway: 192.168.0.1

When you do the above things, your PC is connected to the modem through the switch, right?

If so, the problem could be caused by IP conflict as both the modem and switch are using the IP 192.168.0.1 in the connection.

To log into the web management page of the switch, please disconnect the modem from the switch, configure static IP 192.168.0.10 on the PC to have a try. After you log in, it's suggested to change the switch IP to 192.168.0.x to fit in your network, but use a unique one to avoid IP conflict. You may refer to this guide to configure static IP on your PC. https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/14/
