Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Okay so I have a pretty unique setup. 3 deco m5 units on 3 seperate buildings on my farm about 400m from each other being fed by a Optus 4g sim router, no Ethernet linking the buildings only the network. So I'm looking at adding a security system to the property but I don't know if my "common sense" is reality.

gameplan

was connect 6 Poe cameras to a switch and connect that to 1 deco

another 4 to a switch and connect to 2nd deco

and 10 to a switch and connect to 3rd deco, then connect a dvr to this

will my dvr be able to pickup these signals over the network?

I appreciate any and all help. Thank you

@Fletty

Hi, Since the real distance is too far for Deco to create the wireless backhaul and there is no Ethernet cable in between as well, so Did you connect each Deco behind a 4G router?

---if it is, there would be three separate networks:

So whether the NVR is able to access the cameras over Internet /WAN connection,  it is more related to the 4G gateway, not the Deco;

Thank you very much.
