OC200 Firmware supporting 4.4.3
I built my system with the software controller on my PC using 4.4.3 just to make it easy and get it up fast. I found that when my PC goes to sleep my entire network takes a hit and it does the same when my PC wakes up. It seems when the PC goes to sleep and the controller software isn't available anymore all the devices take a small hit. When the PC wakes up the controller software then has to adopt all the devices again and push configuration which again causes all the devices to take another hit. The PC was always just a stop gap and for now I stopped my PC from sleeping to fix the issue. I saw Amazon had a good deal on the OC200 so I bought it as an easy button. Found out the OC200 doesn't support 4.4.3 yet so I can't migrate my sites to the OC200.
So now my question is how long are we looking before the OC200 will support 4.4.3? If it is going to be months then I might just return the OC200 and get a raspberry PI to run the controller software.

Dear @KONMER, @SoggyWontons, @Obrenner,
Thank you for your valued feedback.
I've pushed the team to release the OC200 firmware as soon as possible, and it will be released soon!
I fully understand that you cannot wait to upgrade the OC200 firmware for controller v4.4.3/v4.4.4.
If you require to upgrade the firmware now, here is the upcoming firmware for you.

While there has been no definitive answer to this from TP-Link, from the experience of the last few updates it was around a month (perhaps 5 weeks) after the Software Controller before the OC200 got its update. Its very unlikely to be much longer as v5 of the controller was 'mentioned' for possible release q4 this year.
If the 1 month delay stays consistent it should be any day now, just my two cents :)

@Fae do we have a release date target for a new firmware for the oc200 that has OS 4.4?

FYI, the OC200 may not have v4.4.3, but directly update to a newer version v4.4.4 together with software controller.
Sorry that I have no idea when the new firmware for the OC200 will be released, probably this month. I'll update this post once the new firmware is available for Omada Controller.

Any update on this? I'm also hanging out to migrate a temporary software controller running 4.4.3 to an OC200.

What is the reason why the OC200 is repeatedly overlooked when there is a new update.
even critical updates take several months. is it so that it is stupid to have OC200 if you want to get the latest updates from TP-LINK.
What do you think is the best @Fae , run Omada SDN on a PC or hardware controller. it seems that the hardware controllers are strongly downgraded compared to other pc based controllers.
now we have had major problems with the 4.3.5 version but even then the updates have not been prioritized.
