Disable Mic TAPO C100

is there any configuration to disable mic from the master user admin, to prevent whoever you share the camera with cannot hear what you are saying? we are sharing a camera with my brothers and all of them can here what my parent are talking all the time, so I want to disable the mic of the camera. There are a lot of camera that have this feature for this reason.
thanks,

it seems absolutely silly to me that this still has not been implemented.
1. Restrict invited users from changing any settings, or at least give the admin an option to add that restriction.
2. Add a new setting for disabling camera audio all together - not just for a recording.
I'll be honest, I got a C120 as a simple indoor security camera solution, but I absolutely cannot trust that someone won't be listening in - be that an employee or due to a hack (and we've seen both cases in the industry before!). So in my case, I will be disabling the camera's Internet access all together and using my own NVR. This is actually very unfortunate as I do like some of the detection features, but I think there is no choice there.

@Solla-topee I'm just starting out with a C400 camera and I'm having the same leak problem I mentioned in 2021! I can't find an answer to that question. Is there a solution, or should I switch brands?

@Drix86 yes, disabling the microphone was pretty simple. You need to disassemble the camera to get to the main circuit board. Then remove this circuit board from the housing altogether. The microphone is soldered onto a secondary circuit board, which also has the light sensor on it. This board gives information to the main circuit board via pins which connect the two boards together. You have options here. You can permanently cut the traces on the microphone circuit board, or you can desolder the pins that connect to the main circuit board, or you do what I did, simply bend the microphone pin to break the circuit. See the image (bottom left pin ).

@tplink So Ive created an account just to say the same thing as everyone else. I have just bought two C82's and I disable the sound in the cp and whenever any of my shared users log onto the camera, it automatically turns on the mic itself or they can do it manually!
That is a serious issue for me, so I'll be returning these two cameras on that basis. I cant believe that you are aware of this issue for four years and have done nothing. It's a software coding issue that can be fixed quite easily.
Very dissapointed really, because I have 7 other tapo cameras at various locations and until now the mic mute hasnt been an issue. Ah well, I shall have to find another brand that has this feature. I dont want to be dismantling or taping anything, it should be there as an admin option.
