Hi,

 

The Omada software and the firmware are getting better and better. Thanks for that.

I miss now only 1 more option and that is DNS over HTTPS.

This feature is for us important to filter traffic and use encryption.

Can you please look into this?

My Setup:TL-ER-7206, OC200, 3x EAP245, 1x EAP225, 1x EAP225-Outdoor Wishlist: 1x TL-SG2218 and 2x TL-SG2008

Omada Software Controller v5.8 and OC200/OC300 Controller v5.9 has added DNS Proxy (Site Settings > Services ) with DoH/DOT (DNS over HTTPS/TLS) supported.

 

Please ensure that both your Omada Controller and Router are updated to the firmware adapted to Controller v5.8 or later version.

 

Note:

For OC200/OC300 controller v5.9, you may need to manually upgrade the firmware via local access as it is a major firmware upgrade.

 

FYI, the following router firmware has added support for DoH and DoT in Controller mode.

ER605 V2_2.1.1 Official Firmware (Released on Jan 30th, 2023)

ER7206 V1_1.3.0 Official Firmware (Released on Mar 28th, 2023)

I am trying to use DoH but Omada will not accept the URL. I am using a service from Cleanbrowser and the URL has ":" in the string, seems like the system doesnt like it and I get an error. Any ideas?
