I have recently switched to Starlink as I can't get fibre and ADSL and Wireless broadband are painfully slow. Starlink is great, very fast, no complaints there. However, I have lost port-forwarding as Starlink uses CG. I bought an ER605 and configured it to use OpenVPN for the WAN, but the speed dropped from 100 to 200 Mbps to less than 10. No good. Is it possible to have general internet traffic coming straight in through the WAN port from Starlink and have a VPN over the same wire with the static IP and port forwarding the VPN gives me through the same ER605? I know enough to be dangerous with networks, but this is beyond me. Even a point in the right direction for what to search for would be a big help as much of this is a new language to me.
