Hello, Team. Quick question I couldn't find in the search re:New SG116E v2.20. FW=1.0.0 Build 20220826 Rel.58631

The "Support" page has several versions in the drop-down, for example, V2, V2.6... but but *not* v.2.20.

 

Just making sure I am not missing something - does this mean there is currently no new FW for v2.20?

i.e. Not sure if "V2" in TP-Lingo might for some reason include "V2.20"?

 

Main reason I ask is the "Easy Smart Configuration Utility" seems to be neither super Easy nor all that Smart... it keeps telling me to "upgrade" the utility in order to use it for anything (i.e. Setup), although I downloaded two different versions (newest and previous) and neither worked. The WebUI on the switch works, but wanted to check out the utility.

  @Teeple I find they are a bit inconsistent with keeping all regions properly updated with all firmwares. I usually check both Canada and USA for the Easy Smart switch firmwares to see which one has the more recent update.

 

In this case, the US site has a firmware for v2.20 published on 2022-09-09.

Hi  @Teeple 

 

I tired Easy Smart Utility v1.3.13.0 and I did not see any error message on it. 

 

Can you share us the screenshot of error that you got?

  @dsj Hey fantastic, thank you - the huge red "stay in your FW lane" warning sign had me go directly to the Canada site. I will check out the US link, thank you for that.
