I have just purchased a OC200 for my network. I have 2 EAP225s that work great. I have the software contoller installed on my PC. I have the OC200 powered by the usb and the network plugged into the poe port. I do have internet connection. When i try to bind the OC200 it says Failed to add your Cloud Controller - device not found. I have reset the OC200 and i can get to the 192.168.0.253 recovery page. I reboot and then nothing. It looks like it does not connect to internet. I have looked at my DHCP list and i dont see it. Any help would be appreciated. Otherwise i will just return and use the software controller on my PC.

Just a quick update that it is not BRICKED when you are in recovery mode. I experienced it earlier and what i did is to factory reset it and upon boot up, i pressed on the reset slot with a needle and waited till it blinks and stop ( about 50 secs ). Then when i access the fallback IP ( 192.168.0.253 ) it is restarting ( up to 4-5 mins till 100 % ) and voila! Its good as new again.

  @rivermaya You can try to reinsert the network cable from oc200, and then it will get IP from your router again.

I think maybe oc200 doesn't get IP from your router, so you can't bind it from internet to cloud.

  @pphaha Im using ER605 as gateway in DHCP forwarding mode and it binded with my OC200. yes i configured it hardwired with my macbook. Tnks

Happened to me the same after upgrade.

Disable and enable again the Cloud access on Controller.

Also unbind and bind again, as if it was a new account, your tplink account and it should work again.

 

This worked for me.

Make sure its getting enough power.  if you under power it, it will keep randomly borking.

 

I would power it by a POE injector to the switch.
