This is pretty simpler. first off all take backup of your controller :-)

Then remove your old router, go to router and configuration, manage device then forget.

then disconnetct the router from network.

to add you new router goto wired networks, internett. add your new ER707-M2 and follow the interface wizard.

I also recomand you to configure ER707 with same LAN ip as your network before adopting router.

The HW-upgrade  to the new ER707 from ER605 HW.

Needs to be checked: There is a problem with the download file/site .In the upgrade the reference is Firmware version V1.1.0 but actual it is the Firmware V1.0.2 which is in the link.

Migration done as proposed / defined  => during the migration a small configuration application popped up to copy the configurations. so far so good. First Gloance everything is configured included Open VPN. 

Initial test -> faster internet and reacting times of the systems.

System / Modem  is requesting an update of it's firmware. Not available on the site.

Still a few things not clear on the configuration,  but I will first do the Firmware upgrade and then see what the result is.

Eg. IP4 Address vs IP6 address, DNS server assignment with  IP problems, Assignment of IP address seems to give some issues. Omada Cloud connection to OC300 controller. Assignment of the Wan port. Port 443 forwarding Own configuration issues with  the TCP/IP 443 port I used)

Little disappointed. I had to go back to old configuration and re-use the ER605V2.  back to slow but happy days.

Could not get the network working properly and stable with ER707-M2. The Router refused to work on 2,5Gb WAN1, Worked partly on 2,5 Wan/Lan2 but instable, problems with IP/DNS  and gateway....

Tried to upgrade to V1.1.0   but  the firmware is not available on the download network. Omade System says upgrade to V1.1.0 but the version available is V1.0.2 but not the  correct bin File. So I have to investigate more time and also give TP some time to clean up the Download centre.

This Exchange Looks like a simple action but seems not to be. Omade SW Compatibility and  Firmware has still some time to go.

If you have time maybe look into the frimware files and clean up ->  it is not ok. this is version 1.0.2 and the BIN file is corrupt.
