I have 2 identical EAP225-Outdoor V1.8 APs. I have wifi camera's connected to them, 2 weeks ago they stopped working.  After a lot of analysis I found the AP's stopped working - they were connected but no traffic.  I saw through the controller that an update was pending - so I did the update.  After the update the AP's would not reconnect.  When I try to adopt, it wants user name and password which it doesn't seem to take (and I have never changed).  I'm stuck, can't do a factory reset (at least with the online instructions) and it's work great for 4 years and after this update, boom, dead in the water.  I tried to recover from a previous backup - no good.  I've jacked with it a couple hours and no joy.  What is my next step?

Hi @RockHopper

The controller will assign an user account to EAPs once EAPs are managed by it. You may find the User account by going to Site window > Settings > Site, check the Device Account and try it.

  @Hank21

I think the problems the controller updated and didn't keep the old admin info--which locks out prevoously managed devices.  If you can factory reset one unit and successfully readopt that will prove this out.  Alternatively, revert the controller and apply a backup taken from that version.
