Hi, could you please double check the hardware and firmware version of your TD-W8961N? As I cannot find V6 and your current firmware.

Open a web browser and enter the router's IP address in the address bar. The default IP address for TP-Link routers is often http://192.168.1.1/.
You will be prompted to enter your username and password. The default credentials are often "admin" for both the username and password. If you have changed them, use the updated credentials.
