Hello ,

@p3acemaker

@STN

We have released the beta firmware for the RE705X. Please try it and check whether it can resolve the abnormal display:

RE700X/RE705X/RE715X Shows Offline in the EasyMesh Device List After Updating to New Firmware.

Hi @Joseph-TP @David-TP, when are we expecting to get an update regarding the RE605X v.2.20 (US) support for Ethernet Backhaul?

Unfortunately this is the only available model in all the stores in the Philippines and we could not get a ver. 3 here. It would be really great if you can also update the v.2.20 versions

  @David-TP

Adding my vote for RE500X to have ethernet backhaul enabled. Just bought two of these on Amazon with zero indication that ethernet backhaul wasn't supported.

This was a very unpleasant surprise.

  @JJinMaine

Also Re800 isn't supported and for the cost and the target of the product that's an autenthic scandal. Mad things for people that spent so much... I think i'll sold my ge800 and two re800 and i'll take other products from another brand.

I'm really not satisfied with tplink policy they sell beta products without support

Using the 1.3.10 Build 20250817 Rel. 63070 on RE705X v1.0 (updated via Tether App)

I'm still having the issues with devices not receiving internet when connected and the devices is set to wireless access (to enable Ethernet back haul)

Do we have further Beta firmwares or a timeline on this being fixed?

Hi @Nplumb ,

Do you mean that you are using the Access Point Mode? To connect the RE705X to the main router via EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul, you should set it to range extender mode.

It is recommended that you hard reset the RE705X: With the power on, use a pin to press the button for 1 second to reset the extender.

Then configure the extender as the satellite unit via Ethernet Backhaul: How to build an Ethernet Backhaul using TP-Link EasyMesh Range Extenders.

Also, what is the model and hardware version, as well as the firmware version, of your main router?
